Someone Like You è un brano musicale della cantautrice Adele, grande stella britannica della musica; pubblicato il 24 gennaio del 2011pubblicato il 24 gennaio del 2011, è stato estratto come secondo singolo dall'album 21. Il singolo ha riscosso le migliori critiche e una soddisfazione generale da parte dei fan raggiungendo il primo posto in vari paesi quali Australia, Irlanda, Stati Uniti, Italia, Vallonia, Nuova Zelanda e Repubblica Ceca. Il video è stato girato a Parigi da Jake Nava.
Giudizio finale
Il brano si apre con una dolce melodia di piano che subito riesce a far percepire lo stile della canzone, dolce e calmo, attributi che caratterizzano la cantante britannica da sempre. Il piano copre un ruolo significativo nella parte strumentale poichè accompagna la voce di Adele per tutta la canzone. L'arrangiamento, quindi, è molto fluido e orecchiabile. Una nota di merito va anche alla voce della cantante che denota una certa maturità e un controllo del timbro vocale fantastico. Jake Nova, il produttore del video, sembra essere anch'egli attratto dal vintage, come tanti altri produttori, del resto. Infatti il video raffigura Adele che veste un cappotto nero, che sembra riflettere e pensare a quel "vecchio amico" che ormai ha preso una strada diversa dalla sua. Nel video Adele passeggia lungo la Senna, con dietro lo sfondo di una Parigi ventosa e nuvolosa, che rappresenta perfettamente l'interpretazione e lo stile del brano.
