Il nostro aiuto ti sarà difficilmente utile, molto spesso le lettere sono a tema, come è capitato a me. Prepartela non è affatto una buona idea, fidati. Anche se le nozioni base ti saranno sempre utili quindi:

Se, invece (anche se poco probabile), la lettera sarà solamente di presentazione e non conosci il tuo amico di penna, potrai parlare prima di tutto di te in generale (nome, età, eventuale soprannome, descrizione personale), della tua famiglia, della tua città, del tuo Paese, della tua routine quotidiana, dei tuoi hobbies e del tuo tempo libero, della scuola, etc.

Ricordati sempre che troverai quasi sicuramente dei punti in cui dovrai usare il passato e/o il futuro. Preparati bene e metti attenzione soprattutto ai verbi ;)

Per carità, non andare ad usare Google Traduttore! Esercitati con ciò che sai, al massimo usa il vocabolario! Ma non andare a rovinarti l'esame con quello schifo di traduttore.. altro che inglese, quello ti traduce in cambogiano.. :no:

Una domanda: ma non potresti fare al posto della lettera la benedettissima prova di comprensione? E' decisamente più facile e richiede meno conoscenze linguistiche.

Io aggiungerei un "TO" fra want e talk

Sundey (sunday), gradparents (grandparents), get (got, poichè è al passato la lettera), il Colosseo (the Colosseum), some non ci va (spaghetti è invariabile), for buy (è to buy).

Nemmeno tu scherzi. :

Comunque può andare sia con TO sia senza TO.
